Place Value Number Battle
Players split a deck of cards and simultaneously flip over their top three cards to create a 3-digit number. Players may move the cards and place in any position of the number they wish. The highest number wins all six cards.

Place Value Practice
** This is not a game, but rather an opportunity for students to practice identifying place value.

Student flips over 3-7 card and read the number aloud. For example, 567 = Five hundred fifty seven
3 = Hundreds
4 = Thousands
5 = Ten Thousands
6 = Hundred Thousands
7 = Millions

Modification: Next write out the expanded form for the number flipped. For example, 567 = 500 + 60 + 7
